Chapter Crossword Puzzles and Reading Interactions

| Below are crossword puzzles for each of the chapters
in the Objects First book. They are keyed specifically to the
definitions and terms used there. It is a fun way to review vocabulary. The
procedure for doing puzzles is intuitive. If you get stuck on a word,
you can click a button to reveal the letters--one at a time--until you realize
what the word is. You can also click another button to check that your answers
so far are correct. Any incorrect letters will be removed. When a puzzle is
successfully completed, a congratulatory message is displayed. |

Firewall alert! You may have problems with the crossword puzzles when trying
to load them across certain firewalls. You get an error message about not
being able to load a class. If that happens, the only suggestion I have is
that you download the zip set and install it locally on your network. I don't
know any other way to solve the problem. If someone has suggestions, please
let me know. |
