Mission Statement
The mission of the Physics Department is to provide within a Christian context an educational experience that equips students with the ability to obtain knowledge and understanding about the physical world and apply and relate it to society, graduate studies, and career interests. The Physics Department offers instruction in physics, astronomy, engineering, and physical science. Space physics provides the major research interest in the department.
