Welcome

My name is Ken Kiers and I am a theoretical particle physicist at Taylor University in Upland, IN, USA.  I came to Taylor in 1998 and am currently the chair of the Physics and Engineering Department here.

Prior to coming to Taylor, I was a postdoc in the High Energy Theory Group at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

I have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of British Columbia, in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I started my undergraduate education at Redeemer University College, and eventually graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

I am married to Greta Kiers, and we have four children: Josh, Joel, Ben and Leah.
