In addition to our multi-touch monitor, we have recently received a 3D monitor (for viewing 3D created in the Animation course) and the first Kinect (for use in Computer Vision class). What a fun part of the job – playing with technology!
Taylor has been ranked #1 Midwest Regional College by US News and World Report for the 5th consecutive year. What an honor and what a privilege to work here. I must say, however, that based on my colleagues, our students, and the campus ethos, I believe the recognition to be well deserved.
We have converted our department servers to a new virtual architecture with SAN (Storage Area Network) data storage.
